We are thrilled you have added an Eartha & Wolf fine jewel to your collection. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted using only the finest materials, meaning it can be treasured for a lifetime and adored by generations to come.
However, over time, all gemstones, diamonds and precious metals can lose their sparkle and shine. Debris and daily grime builds up on stones causing them to look dull and dirty, and metals such as silver can easily tarnish. To ensure your new piece of Eartha & Wolf jewellery remains as beautiful as the day you bought it, you will need to follow some simple but important care instructions.
Cleaning
Clean your fine jewellery gently with a soft bristled toothbrush in warm water, made soapy with a touch of washing up liquid. If your piece has a diamond or gemstone set within a cage, make sure the bristles of the brush reach under the stone to ensure maximum sparkle. Always use a container when cleaning your jewellery, as opposed to doing it directly over the sink. Dry and polish with a lint free cloth.
When to Wear
We know you'll loathe to take off your gorgeous new Eartha & Wolf jewel, but be mindful of when and where you wear it. Fine jewellery should avoid coming into contact with chemicals such as hairspray, lotion and perfume, so always get ready first and then apply your jewels after. We recommend that you don't wear your fine jewellery in the swimming pool or when you're cleaning, gardening or playing sport.
Storing
When it's not being worn, store your piece carefully in a clean, dry place. A fabric lined case or jewellery box with compartments is best. Alternatively, wrap each item, including individual earrings, in a tissue or handkerchief before storing to prevent scratching and tangling.
